About Bob

I’m Bob Herman, founder of BuyOnlineNow.com. “Founder” sure sounds more important that what I was doing back in the beginning;  sitting alone in a spare bedroom of my home trying to figure out how to stay open another week.

BuyOnlineNow.com opened in May 2000 and didn’t exactly take off  like Amazon; we had 6 orders the first month. But every day I learned how to take care of our customers a little better, and over time the business grew. I’m now fortunate to have a great team, but in the beginning it was just me, learning a little bit more every day.

Today we’re proud to be one of the largest online only office supply stores in North America. We deliver thousands of products to customers in the US and Canada from our web  sites BuyOnlineNow.com & BuyOnlineNow.ca and have been featured by Inc. Magazine as one of America’s fastest growing private companies for each of the last 5 years.

Over the last 10 years I’ve learned a lot about office products and selling online and I’ll be sharing some of the stories here. I hope you find something interesting, amusing and maybe even thought provoking here.

Thanks for stopping by,

Hi Bob,

I was looking at your website today, and must say I was VERY impressed, and noticed that you are now working in Canada as well….there may be an opportunity that you might be interested in. In Canada we have aprogram similar to the 8A program but its only for aboriginal peoples

I have been working very succesfully in this arena for years, and always on the lookout for new partnerships…
in the U.S…I am aware of the GSA, but in Canada our government procures through National Master Standing Offers or NMSO,s…..I hapeen to also own the domain name NMSOpricing.co
I beleive with your online presence already we could have an enormous impact on the market here in Canada….if you could send me your email address i will forward information on the potential business here in Canada, as it relates to aboriginal opportunities.

I am also on LinkedIn I will looked to see if you are there and send you an invite to join my network, and you can learn more about my extensive experience
